Mission

We co-create radical change in our school communities with students, families and educators by using the tools of agency, empathy, and belonging.

How we work

Our school systems were designed for the wrong revolution – the Industrial Revolution, which we are long past.

Lots of caring, intelligent education reformers have worked to address this, but we believe that no community will participate in deep, meaningful change that they have not been part of creating.

We co-create the schools that will help our children thrive in the world of 2050 by working with students, educators, and parents/caregivers in a community to design the school that the community wants for their own kids.

We use tools from the worlds of design thinking, futures thinking, and education design.

Where we work

Founded in Denver, Colorado in 2022, the educators, community members, and parents on our team have worked in education communities in over 45 countries across the world and in 38 states in the United States.

Today, we support school communities on three continents: North America, Europe, and Africa.

We work with any school community that wants to reinvent their school with the students, educators, and parents/caregivers of their school, and who are willing to explore major systemic change.

Services

Schools typically work with us in one of three ways:

  • a currently operating school who is willing to redesign systems in the school to progress in a change outcome chosen by their community
  • a community that wants to design a new school or a new program within a school to meet their community’s needs
  • an organization that wants input from many parts of the community – students, educators, parents/caregivers, union leaders, government officials, etc – to produce a strategic plan
