ReGEN reimagines schools with today’s school communities for the needs, dreams, and values of those communities.
School or Program Creation
Schools work best when they meet the learning needs of their local community. We have helped students, educators, and families design or redesign major elements of their school.
Strategic Plan Development
We have visited with, interviewed, and analyzed feedback from constituencies within a school community.
Professional Development
Much of our work requires educators’ ideas and support to come to fruition. We give professional development on different topics.
Where we work
Founded in Denver, Colorado in 2022, the educators, community members, and parents on our team have worked in education communities in over 45 countries across the world and in 38 states in the United States.
Today, we support school communities on three continents: North America, Europe, and Africa.
We work with any school community that wants to reinvent their school with the students, educators, and parents/caregivers of their school, and who are willing to explore major systemic change.
Examples of our work
A school in Denver, CO in which K-8 students, educators, and parents/caregivers worked together to design their full school curriculum.
a school in Lille, France, in which the school made changes to their assessments, physical school space, phone policy, schedule, and pedagogical practices to deeply improve the school’s climate of trust and respect
a school in Kampala, Uganda, designed by refugees as a vocational school with wraparound services for working mothers
